

Hutt Repertory Theatre.
Established in 1944, Hutt Repertory Theatre has proudly served as the premier amateur theatre company in the Hutt Valley for over 80 years. We continue to produce high quality drama, comedy, and children’s theatre, offering engaging and accessible performances for audiences of all ages.
Located just behind the shops opposite Epuni Railway Station in Lower Hutt, our dedicated theatre space allows us to stage up to four productions annually, spanning a variety of genres.
Each season, we welcome new members to join our vibrant community, whether you are interested in acting, directing, set design, backstage work, lighting and sound, front of house, or marketing.

What you can help us with
There are a few ways to get involved:

Front of House greeting guests showing people to their seats and helping make the night run smoothly

Working Bees helping tidy the theatre doing small jobs around the venue painting cleaning or lending a hand with whatever needs doing

General Support jumping in where you feel comfortable and becoming part of the wider Hutt Rep family.
No experience or skills required, we will support you and get you up to speed!

Anyone who wants to help is welcome!
